Our client, a specialist in the water and wastewater pumping industry seeks a savvy experienced Sales Engineer to join their well established team based in Auckland. You will thrive on the ‘thrill of the chase’ and have a track record of achieving sales objectives through your ability to promote products, after sales service in the areas of spare parts, hire and service.
The sales area you will be servicing has a variety of customers in various industry sectors, including mining, government and general industry. Your ability to establish new customers whilst maintaining existing relationships with clientele such as City Councils, Consultants, Contractors and the like will ensure your success!
Key attributes sought include: Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably in mechanical engineering
Technical sales experience, preferably in the water & wastewater/pumping industry
Demonstrable experience at building and maintaining fruitful business relationships
Exceptional time management skills
Excellent communication/customer focus
Creative flare – ability to ‘think outside the square’
Sound computer skills
