ENGINEER - TECHNICAL SUPPORT + SALES
Diagnostics and maintenance engineer with heavy industry (mining/quarrying) experience....great opportunity
Our client is a well established family owned New Zealand company which has developed its engineering equipment business to provide construction machinery users (mining and quarrying) as well as manufacturers, defence and automotive and service industries with technical and product support with their extensive range of world class environmentally friendly parts cleaning, lubrication and material dispensing systems.
You will be joining a small, dedicated, fun-loving team based in South Auckland where you will play a pivotal role across the business and be willing to turn your hand to anything.
Key attributes include:Mechanical trade/hands-on background of at least 6 years
Experience in diagnostics would be a distinct advantage
Technical sales experience is desirable plus the ability to communicate well and build good customer relationships
You will need a "can-do" attitude to fit in with this small and close knit team
Knowledge of the heavy industry, in particular mining and quarrying, would be advantageous, however not essential.
From time to time you will be required to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time to work on large projects, so flexibility is essential.
